Harlem Globetrotters www.harlemglobetrotters.com Design Goals The Harlem Globetrotters want to keep in touch with all their fans worldwide. High on their list of needs was to inform fans of upcoming games and events. An event calendar and press releases needed to be accessible on the first page of the site. Creatively the site needed to reflect the fun and character of the players and team. Technology Implemented Using the rock-solid technologies like Unix servers, SQL databases and PHP, the team at Transcendent WebMedia created a self-updating and client-updated website that creates the freshest content with a minimum of effort. The Harlem Globetrotters staff updates press releases and events in the calendar themselves. Events and press releases come off the home page and get archived as they expire or get replaced by newer content. Random graphics are displayed throughout the site to keep the site feeling fresh through the entire visit. Terms of Development Site was developed exclusively by the Transcendent WebMedia Design Team. Transcendent WebMedia continues to update and add to the site as required by the Harlem Globetrotters.
